Machine pieced (poorly) & hand quilted. Originally supposed to be a leader/ender project but I realized my skills were not up to tiny pieces yet so points and squares were cut off to make it squarish.

A Christmas gift to my boyfriend's dad with the name of ship, years served, and navy motto (?) hand quilted into the borders. No batting, used US Navy printed fleece for backing.
